Welcome to the Penicuik Community Choir.
The aim of the choir is to promote community spirit, fun and, of course, the pleasure singing together brings.  We will be singing a wide variety of song-styles in a relaxed and fun way. There’s no need to be able to read music, but if you can that’s fine too. We will sing two and three part songs, the ultimate goal being to perform regular concerts within the Midlothian and wider areas.

Exciting News – Updated on 30 January 2022
The choir is scheduled to start face-to-face rehearsals with limitations (a full risk assessment has been carried out and can be viewed here) on Wednesday 2nd February 2022 at 7:30pm in St Mungos Church (note church and not hall).  In the coming weeks, the live sessions will also be streamed for those unable to attend in person. Links will be issued on a weekly basis.  If you wish to join us, please fill in our contact form and we will advise you regarding the weekly invite (all you need is to be able to download and install ‘Zoom’ onto a smart phone or tablet, help can be provided if needed)

Subscription Charges
Like most organisations, clubs or associations, the choir will be self funded and in order to cover the cost of accommodation, music, equipment and a small fee for the choir master, a subscription of £20 will be payable on the first week of each term (this is non-refundable if you miss a week).

Logging In
Choir members will be given a username and password to access choir materials.  For members, if you are having issues logging in, please watch the video Logging in Issues

I look forward to making music with you!
